RAFF follows a monthly billing cycle. Your usage costs accumulate throughout the calendar month, with applicable taxes added based on your location. On the first day of each month, RAFF automatically charges your team’s primary payment method for the previous month’s usage. If your usage surpasses the set threshold, you may receive a mid-month invoice.

Why My Card May Decline?

When you attempt to add a new card or make a payment towards your bill, your card may be declined either by RAFF or your banking institution.

RAFF accepts most international credit and debit cards from major financial institutions. If your card is declined, the following issues might be the cause:

  • You're using a prepaid card, which RAFF does not currently accept. As an alternative, you can try adding the prepaid card to a PayPal account and use PayPal for payment. If PayPal doesn’t accept it, you’ll need to use a different payment method.

  • Insufficient funds. Ensure that your bank account has enough available funds to complete the transaction, as banks may hold deposited checks and limit accessible funds.

  • Your bank flagged the transaction as potentially fraudulent. International transactions with RAFF could trigger fraud detection. Contact your bank to authorize these payments, as RAFF transactions are labeled similarly to "RAFF.COM."

  • 3-D Secure authentication might be required. Check with your bank to see if this applies to your card, as RAFF and its payment processors do not manage 3-D Secure authentication directly. You’ll need to coordinate with your bank or card issuer.

I’ve Paid My bill, So Why Are My Services Still Offline?

When an account is suspended due to unpaid bills, all resources are powered down and locked for changes until the full overdue amount is settled or an extension is arranged through support.

If you’ve recently paid off your outstanding balance using PayPal but your RAFF account is still suspended, it could be because the payment is still processing. PayPal transactions may take up to 72 hours to complete, although they usually clear faster. RAFF doesn’t control the pending process, so you may want to contact PayPal to check if they can speed up the payment.

Restoring Your Powered-Off Resources

After your account is in good standing, you’ll need to manually turn on any resources that were powered off. RAFF won’t automatically restart them. Here’s how to get them back online:

  • Sign in to your RAFF control panel.

  • Navigate to the Manage section on the left menu and select Droplets to see a list of your resources.

  • Click the Droplet you wish to power on to open its details.

  • In the top right corner, check the ON/OFF button for its current status.

  • If it’s off, click the ON/OFF button to turn it back on.

How can I update my contact and company details on my RAFF invoice?

To change your personal details, head to the My Account page, while team-related settings can be updated on the Settings page. You can modify your billing address, tax location, or add a tax ID through the Billing Settings section.

Important Notes:

  • RAFF cannot adjust invoice dates or billing cycles.

  • Any changes to your address will be immediately reflected on your invoice. However, updates to tax information, including tax location or tax ID, will only affect future invoices and are not applied retroactively.

  • RAFF only accepts payments in USD, so all invoices are issued in this currency. We cannot provide invoices in any other currency.

What Should I Do If I Can't Pay My RAFF Invoice?

If you're having trouble making a payment, please reach out to our support team. Our billing and technical experts will assist in finding the best way to safeguard your data and the effort you’ve invested into developing and managing your project.

Please note, RAFF does not grant payment extensions. Invoices are issued on the first of the month, and if the outstanding balance isn’t cleared, your account will be suspended until payment is made.

Can I Prepay For My RAFF Support Plans?

Currently, RAFF does not allow prepayment for support plans. All support plans are billed on a month-to-month basis.

You can explore the different support plans we offer to compare options and learn how to sign up for the one that best suits your needs.
